1) Company at a glance
Lisha B.V. is a Dutch social business developing TOPlisha, a WhatsApp-first and web-based platform used by TOP Centers, cooperatives, and community groups to build digital profiles, track projects, and produce practical dashboards. TOP provides the methodology and training logic; Lisha B.V. provides the digital tools, onboarding workflows, and institutional reporting layer.
In practice: Isaac Langat farms coffee in Kipkelion, Kenya. With the "happy soil" method he multiplied his yield by five, and his profile — what he grows, what he has done, what he needs — is visible to buyers and to the cooperative above him at lisha.coffee/isaac. TOPlisha is what makes a farmer like Isaac legible to the institutions that decide his future.
TOPlisha is active in Kenya, Burkina Faso, and DRC. Lisha B.V. also supports Extrability in Israel (see section 3).
2) What we do — TOPlisha (Doing)
TOPlisha creates Dignity-Digital profiles (individual and group) capturing skills, resources, aspirations, and challenges. Groups with the help of local coaches can then initiate practical projects with their own resources and grow their activities. A structured follow-up loop module —tasks, progress updates, obstacles, and reporting—lets action become visible and measurable over time. Data is collected from the field through WhatsApp (text, voice, photos) and through a Progressive Web App (PWA) that supports online/offline entry. TOPlisha mini posters allow users to market and sell their products over the social networks.
3) What we do — Extrability.co (Being)
In Israel, Lisha B.V. supports Extrability work at David Yellin College with students with disabilities. Extrability is a capability-first approach that focuses on “who a person can be and contribute,” not on deficits. Using reflective practice (daily/weekly journals) and a simple triangle model—student/user, teacher/coach, and an Intelligent Agent (TOPlisha)—educators can follow each learner’s development in a consistent way. The system produces structured summaries and dashboards that help teachers fine-tune the curriculum, identify strengths, progress patterns, and support needs while keeping privacy safeguards at the center.
4) Who we serve
Lisha B.V. serves community groups and cooperatives (farmers’ societies, women’s groups, youth groups), local coaches and trainers supporting those groups, NGOs and programs managing multiple groups (dashboards, monitoring, learning), financial institutions — SACCOs, MFIs, cooperative banks — that want to see a group's track record before they lend and keep following it after, and educational/inclusion programs (students with disabilities, educators, and support teams).
5) Value for institutions (why TOPlisha + Extrability)
An NGO managing dozens of cooperatives sees the same structured picture for each one — activity, progress, who is doing what — instead of forty inboxes and a site visit. A SACCO will see a group's track record before it lends, and keep seeing it after disbursement, so it can lend on readiness it can verify rather than on hope. A teacher at David Yellin College follows one student's development week to week. The common thread: TOPlisha turns scattered field reality into comparable evidence an institution can act on. Groups move from waiting for aid to acting with the resources they already have, and that movement leaves a trace — a record of what a group built, by itself, that an institution can stand on when it decides to invest.
6) Where we operate and how we implement
Deployments and pilots are running in Kenya, DRC, Burkina Faso for TOPlisha and Israel for extrability, supported by local implementation partners/coaches who assist onboarding, follow-up routines, and adoption inside groups and institutions.
7) Data & confidentiality
Access is subscription-based and role-based, limited to authorized individuals and organizations. Groups can decide which elements, if any, are made public on their profile pages. In education and inclusion contexts, processing is consent-based and designed according to privacy-by-design principles.
